Pyrus calleryana 'Chanticleer' Extra-Hstd 20/25 Wire RB

A narrow conical to ovoid tree to 10m. The old bark is greyish brown and flakes of in small plates, the leaves are a healthy looking glossy green and remainon the tree late in tothe autumn turning a wonderfull mix of yellow, orange and red. The white flowers are bourne profusly in April/May, the tree rarely fruits. Extremely hardy and tolerant of pollution and all soils except very waterlogged soil. Mix a good compost with the soil and stake well.
