Prunus x schmittii* 8/10 Bare Root

A fast growing tree to 10m with a narrow vase shaped crown making it suitable for small spaces. The bark is very remarkable being brownish-red with horizontal stripes. Leaves are elongated up to 8cm long and deep green turning yellow-orange in autumn. Small pale pink flowers are bourne in April/May but do not last long. Hardy tolerant of most soils, mix plenty of good compost with the soil and stake well.
