Corylus colurna Extra-Hstd 16/18 100L

A conical tree with oval dark green leaves, turning yellow in autumn. Bears yellow catkins late winter. Produces edible hazelnuts in deeply fringed husks in autumn. Height 15m very hardy and disease free, drought tolerant grows in most soils. Mix a good compost with the soil and stake well.
